We work on all kinds of scales: from the intimacy of one on one work to the grand scale of large events for hundreds or indeed thousands of people.

Just the two of us

Coaching and working with individuals is something we love to do and often produces amazing results.

Sometimes it’s about a short series of one to one sessions to help someone articulate themselves brilliantly, to get through a big moment, or create a big speech for a big moment or maybe find a path through a challenging phase of work.

At other times these individual sessions might be part in preparation for a big live event.

Whatever prompts the need for the conversation, there’s only one place to start: and that’s with you. Everyone has their own needs, their own individual ways of learning. Perhaps the only common requirement is a safe space for the conversation to happen. Confidentiality is a given. With us on your side, no matter how difficult it might feel, you’re free to have the kind of conversation that moves things on.

It’s better when we’re together

Understanding how to run a really effective session for a team takes skill, expertise and a super sharp focus on desired outcomes.

Experience also helps. In the last 25 years we’ve run hundreds of sessions for teams of people, exploring potential, diagnosing strengths and weaknesses, creating ideas, strategies and finding solutions to tough challenges; simply by having better conversations.

Finding an inspiring off-site location can help. Or sometimes it’s just about getting straight into the gritty content in the office. Whatever the venue, if the quality of conversations is right, the outcomes will reflect the rigour, tenacity and ambition that are a signature of how we work.

In your own words

Insightful conversations are our bread and butter. And one of the most popular and impactful ways to maximise the impact of those conversations is to record, edit and share them with the right audience.

Often we’re invited to discover where colleagues really are with an issue: what they’re genuinely thinking and feeling. No frills. Just candid points of view and honest opinions, clearly expressed.

Or we might be asked to interview customers to go beyond the obvious questions and reveal what they really think.

We then create crafted edits of these conversations, to share the essence of what’s been said, creating a compelling way to start a session, cutting to the chase and getting the really big questions and points of view out in the open to get heard what might otherwise be left unsaid.

In real life

Online is fine. We’re all used to it. But there are times when only a live event will do.

Something unique happens when people meet in the same physical space. Whether it’s to celebrate success, or just to sit down and eat together, relishing the company and interaction we all missed so much during Covid. If you want to create a really special moment, you cannot beat a real life gathering.

Bringing humans together and creating an exceptional live event is something we’re proud to say we’re really good at. And while simply having a good time together can be reason enough to meet in an inspiring venue, if you combine that feel good factor with meaningful content; when you share stories, or take the time and effort to paint a bold, vivid picture of the future with your colleagues right next to you in the room, it’s possible to create that rare and valuable thing: an unforgettable experience.

‘Fishing for pearls’

That’s the phrase the great Swedish film-maker Ingmar Bergman used to describe that precious moment when you capture on film something that can only happen once. Something that’s utterly unique and thrilling to witness. And - because you’ve filmed it - you know you can share those moments with an audience who weren’t there that day, when they see and hear it for themselves.

Often it’s not possible for an important guest to be ‘live’ in the room with you. They might not be able to take the time to travel. Or they might be so in demand they just can’t find a space in their diary to give much of their time. Even if they could be with you in person, the impact of a really beautifully shot interview can bring into your space (real or virtual) an intimacy and a power that only film can capture.
